DISHA

The IndEURA (India Europe Research Aliance) is an academic association in India and devoted to the studies of the European Union and European Integration. It aims at promoting and coordinating EU Studies in the related fields, and cultivating and developing mutual understandings and friendly cooperation in the region and with the EU and its member states.
The association is also membership organization for academics, students and practitioners who are interested in all aspects of Europe and the European Union. It's stem of DISHA International Foundation Trust (DIFT), India established in 2015 under the laws of Society Registration Act 1860 and Mumbai Public Trust act 1950. Partnering with more than 50 countries globally.
The initiative for such an Association was based on the experience European Studies and Erasmus Plus Projects in each of the member states of the European Union and elsewhere, which is an experience of cooperation, sharing of learning and research interests and dissemination of information and critical
analysis on EU issues. DIFT thus intends to take the association ahead by involving renowned researchers having academic interests and zeal for research at PAN India level, to start with.

Aims of the Association?

• To promote teaching and research in European studies;

• To foster links among academics in India and internationally

• To provide a forum for discussion of European issues;

• To provide international exchange programs for faculty, students and organizations;

• To publish work of high quality in European Studies;

• To maintain and foster links between tertiary educational institutions;

• To encourage European studies in secondary schools;

• To publish research based papers in reputed journals

• To advise interested government and non-government organizations and form a collaborative forum under DIFT for achieving aims
